The metal plates became one of the most recognizable elements of the product. The fabrication process included using waterjet-cut, followed by a custom finishing process. We created a radial brushed finish by mounting the plates on a self-designed chuck attached to a hand drill and applying sandpaper to produce the effect.Finally, the caps were UV printed with the brand mark, which also added a protective coating.
